Is Max Factor a person's name?

Over dinner last night while viewing the evening news about Whitney Houston's funeral where her ex-husband Bobbi Brown was mentioned, I asked if Bobbi Brown is the owner of the famous cosmetic line Bobbi Brown.  Then came the question, is Max Factor a name of a person.  Well, nobody knew the answer so I decided to google it this afternoon just to know.

Max Factor came from the founder's name Maksymilian Faktorowicz (1877–August 30, 1938) and Bobbi Brown cosmetics was named after the founder Bobbi Brown (not Whitney Houston's ex-husband).

Maybelline came from Maybel and Vaseline.  Maybel is the sister of Maybelline company creator T.L.Williams and Vaseline was added to the name because the said sister added a mixture of Vaseline and coal dust to her eyelashes to make them darker and fuller, thus the birth of mascara and the famous product Maybelline

By the way, did you know that Wacoal, the famous lingerie corporation is Japanese?
